Metallic blue meets liquid gold. ✨

The Alocasia Heterophylla ‘Metallic Blue’ Aurea Variegated is an exceptional collector Alocasia known for its elongated, architectural foliage, cool metallic blue-green sheen, and striking golden-yellow aurea variegation.

As the plant matures, the leaves become longer and more defined, developing the distinctive metallic finish that makes Heterophylla Metallic Blue so unusual. Against that cool-toned foliage, aurea variegation can appear in shades of gold, chartreuse, lime and yellow, with every new leaf having the potential to produce a completely different pattern. Mature plants develop a more pronounced metallic sheen and refined elongated foliage.

Why collectors want it: This isn’t your everyday variegated Alocasia. The combination of metallic blue foliage and warm aurea variegation creates a contrast that’s difficult to duplicate in other varieties. It also maintains a relatively upright, architectural growth habit as it develops.
